
Nancy Mernit Soriano
As Editor-In-Chief of Country Living magazine, Nancy Mernit Soriano continues to expand the boundaries of the 22-year-old magazine.
Prior to her appointment as Editor-In-Chief in 1998, Soriano was Executive Editor of Country Living. She also served as its Home Building and Architecture Editor and edited a specialinterest publication, Country Living Dream Homes. In addition, she developed and launched a new Hearst magazine in 1996, Country Living Restoration.
Soriano previously served as Editor for Good Food and was a contributing editor to Cosmopolitan, Food & Wine, and Bride’s magazines. She produced a 22-volume book series for Time-Life Books as Design Editor for American Country Design, setting the precedent for home design books.
A featured guest on popular television shows such as “The Today Show,” “Weekend Today,” “E Style,” and the Discovery Channel, she is currently developing a special Country Living segment for “E Style” and a Country Living program for PBS.
