Susan Branch

Susan Branch is an illustrator and the author of 14 books, which have sold over 3.5 million copies. Her latest title is Autumn from the Heart of the Home. She has been featured on HGTV, the Cooking Channel, and “Books of the World,” as well as being nominated for a James Beard Award. Her design company, Susan Branch Designs, produces hundreds of products featuring her designs, including stationery, teakettles, rubber stamps, and everything in between. In the fall of 2005, the first Susan Branch Home store will open in central California and will be quickly followed by one in Martha’s Vineyard.

Susan was born and raised in California. She has lived with the love of her life, Joe Hall, in their 1849 Captain’s home on the island of Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts for the last 23 years. Recently they bought a small farm on the Central Coast of California and have been working to turn eight acres of gopher holes into an English garden.
